St. Mary’s Children’s Choir

The Children’s Choir is open to all interested children from Third to Eighth grade.

After earning their surplice, members may begin work toward their Royal School of Church Music ribbons. Work toward the Light Blue Ribbon may begin in Third Grade, Dark Blue Ribbon as of Fourth Grade, Red Ribbon as of Sixth Grade, and Yellow Ribbon as of Eight Grade. The awarding of each ribbon represents the successful completion of specific requirements in the areas of music, liturgy, and spiritual life.

The Junior Choir sings for the 9:30 am Family Mass on the first Sunday of each month, and for special liturgies on Christmas, during Holy Week, for Pentecost and for the May Devotions.

Rehearsals are from 3:00-4:00 pm on Thursdays in the lower church from September to May.
