MISSION:
The Mission of St. Mary’s Middle School Youth
Group is to provide opportunities for friendship, prayer, service, and fun
in a Catholic setting. In a
joyful spirit we seek to grow in love of God and neighbor!
MEMBERSHIP:
The MSYG is open to any and all 6th, 7th, &
8th Graders. Join by attending
any Monthly Meeting, October through June.
MONTHLY MEETINGS:
Meetings are held the Second Sunday of each month
from 6:30 PM to 8 PM, October through June, at the St. Mary’s Parish
Center. Meetings consist of an
Opening Prayer, Event Updates, Icebreaker Games, Spiritual Topics, and
Intercessory Prayer. Meetings
always end with a Social and Snacks. $4 monthly membership dues are collected at each meeting to defray
MSYG costs and to assist MSYG members in need.
TRIPS:
Social or Service Trips are run each month of the
school year. Participation in
MSYG Trips requires that youths keep up their Monthly Meeting
commitment. Faithful
attendance at Meetings makes youth eligible for upcoming trips. Trips are advertised in a monthly
MSYG Mailing to all members, and in the Church Bulletin.
Confidential financial assistance is
always available.
