St. Mary’s Youth Choir

The Youth Choir is comprised of singers from Sixth to Twelfth Grades; membership is by audition in the spring. The Youth Choir sings on alternate Sundays for the 9:30 AM Family Mass, and for special liturgies during the year.

After earning their surplice, members may begin or continue work toward their Royal School of Church Music ribbons. Work toward the Light Blue Ribbon, Dark Blue Ribbon, and Red Ribbon is possible for Sixth Grade Youth Choir Members, and Yellow Ribbon work may start as of Eight Grade. The awarding of each ribbon represents the successful completion of specific requirements in the areas of music, liturgy, and spiritual life.

Rehearsals are Thursdays from 4:00-5:00 pm in the lower church from September to May.
